SVTU is a group of tenants supporting other tenants. All of the work of the union is done by solidarity labor, and all of the funds of the union are provided by solidarity member dues.
By canvassing and talking with our fellow tenants we learn the problems facing our neighbors, and by forming tenant associations and neighborhood local chapters we gather together to discuss how to confront landlords and management companies to win solutions to our shared tenant problems.
